Why Accurate Measurements Are Important
A — Chest:
Measure horizontally around the body through the fullest points of the chest and across the shoulder blades.
B — Waist:
Measure around the waist along the elastic band.
The tape should be snug but not tight.
C — Hips:
Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the hips and buttocks.
D — Buttock Width:
Determine the most prominent points of the buttocks.
Measure the distance between these points along the surface of the body.
The larger this measurement, the more coverage the dress will have at the back.
E — Hip Circumference in Panties:
Measure around the hips along the elastic line of your underwear.
F — Buttock Height:
Measure vertically from the waistline down the spine to the fullest point of the buttocks.
O — Body Girth:
Pass the measuring tape between the legs, around the torso, and over the shoulder, forming a complete loop. Do not tighten the tape.
Vertical and Upper Body Measurements
G — Waist Height:
Measure from the point where the neck meets the shoulder,
down over the chest to the waistline.
I — Chest Height:
Measure from the shoulder-neck intersection point to the most prominent point of the chest.
M — Chest Width (Center):
Measure the distance between the most prominent points of the chest.
N — Neck Girth:
Measure around the neck through the hollow between the collarbones.
K — Shoulder Length:
Measure from the point where the neck meets the shoulder to the shoulder joint.
To locate the joint, slightly raise your arm.
L — Product Length:
Measure from the shoulder-neck intersection point down to the desired length of the dress.
• Do not round numbers
• Do not pull the measuring tape too tightly
• If unsure, measure again
• For non-standard body proportions, every measurement matters
